Indications
• Treatment of chronic stable heart failure with reduced systolic left ventricular function in conjunction with ACE inhibitors and diuretics, and optionally with cardiac glycosides. • Treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris. • Treatment of hypertension.

Composition
Each coated tablet contains: Bisoprolol Fumarate 10mg
Dosage
Treatment of stable chronic heart failure with Bisoprolol requires a dose adjustment phase Bisoprolol treatment should be started with a gradual increase in dose according to the following steps: • 1.25 mg once a day for one week, if well tolerated increase to • 2.5 mg once daily for a further week, if well tolerated increase to • 3.75 mg once a day for a further week, if well tolerated increase to • 5 mg once a day for the next 4 weeks, if well tolerated increase to • 7.5 mg once a day for the next 4 weeks, if well tolerated increase to • 10 mg once daily for maintenance therapy. The maximum recommended dose is 10 mg once a day. Close monitoring of vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure) and symptoms of worsening heart failure is recommended during the titration phase. Symptoms may appear on the same day of treatment initiation. Treatment of hypertension or chronic stable angina pectoris Adults: For both indications the initial dose is 5 mg once daily. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 10 mg. The maximum recommended dose is 20 mg daily.
