Promoting the physical and mental health of ARSAL Laboratories Co-workers with Calcibandrol.

During the month of March and to commemorate International Women’s Day, ARSAL Laboratories carried out activities aimed at promoting the physical and mental well-being of our Co-workers.

Mandala is a word of Sanskrit origin that means “circle” and represents the unity, harmony and infinity of the universe through the balance of visual elements. Using these diagrams is an excellent resource to meditate and calm the spirit. Inspired by this philosophy, Cirelda Astudillo, Graphic Designer, and María Fernanda Hurtado, Product Manager, designed a Notebook of Mandalas as promotional material for our Calcibandrol brand. This notebook was the gift that ARSAL Laboratories gave to 135 Co-workers on March 8, International Women’s Day, in order to promote the practice of coloring Mandalas in our female talent, to contribute to their emotional well-being, since coloring These “energy circles” benefit attention and relaxation, promoting a state of peace and tranquility.

Thinking about the physical well-being of our Co-workers, last Friday, March 19, 2021, the Osteoporosis Screening Day was held free of charge, from which 26 Co-workers benefited. This initiative materialized thanks to the teamwork of Ángel Araujo, Promotion and Sales Manager of El Salvador, María Fernanda Hurtado, Product Manager of Calcibandrol, and Dr. Félix Salguero, our Company Doctor, who through a Densitometer, managed to determine in the attendees, the bone mineral density, a determining factor for the diagnosis of Osteoporosis, a disease that causes weak and fragile bones, making them prone to fractures, increasing the risk in women over 50 years of age in said pathology.

During the day, the impression of Oralia Flores, Security Agent, one of the Co-workers benefited from the test, was captured, who expressed “I think the initiative is excellent, that way we know how our bone system is doing. In the same way, I congratulate Dr. Salguero for supporting the activity and thinking of us women, who sometimes due to lack of resources or carelessness do not carry out this type of exam, without knowing the importance it has for our health”.

To all determined women who, with their effort and work, contribute day by day to a better world, we say

Happy Women’s Day!
